Do you offer senior discounts every day?
Yes. Senior discounts are available 6 days a week, every day we are open. That includes everyday savings on over-the-counter products and prescription co-pay discounts for eligible seniors.
What counts as OTC for the discount?
OTC means over-the-counter, or non-prescription. Most over-the-counter medications and many health products qualify. Ask our team to confirm the discount for a specific item.
Do seniors get discounts on prescriptions?
Eligible seniors receive a $2.00 discount on prescription co-pays. Some may qualify for additional help. Speak with our pharmacist so we can review the options that apply to you.
Is this a chain pharmacy program?
John & Jack is an independent, family-owned pharmacy in Toronto. We offer these discounts to support seniors in our community. No membership card or signup is needed; simply ask our team.
How old do I have to be to qualify?
Our senior discounts generally apply to patients aged 65 and older. If you are close to this age, ask our team. We can confirm your eligibility and the savings available for your prescription or item.
I have the ODB card. Does this help me?
If you are an eligible senior with a prescription co-payment under the Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) plan, our $2.00 co-pay discount may help reduce what you pay. Our pharmacist can review your coverage and confirm how it applies.
Is it hard to switch my prescriptions to you?
You can start a prescription transfer online or speak with our team. Tell us where your prescriptions are, and our pharmacist will contact your current pharmacy. If you visit, bring your health card and current prescription bottles to help us get started.
