For the most accurate reading, try to avoid caffeine, tobacco, or exercise for 30 minutes before your visit. We'll also ask you to sit and rest for a few minutes before we start.
What happens if my reading is high?
We won't just let you leave. We can review your medications, re-test after you've rested, or advise if you need to see a doctor urgently.
